There she stood, at the gates of her old village, the Leaf Village, she adjusted her backpack and put her Uchiha symbol necklace under her shirt. She saw that the laterns were lit and people were bustling around in the streets. Everyone was wearing something festive and she titled her head questioningly. She turned to ask the guards that were on duty what was going on.
"Excuse me, but what's going on?"
"Ah, you're probably a foreigner, but tonight's the Kohona Festival, I assume you came for the festivities?"
"Well, you could say that. I'm actaully returning home," she replied smiling.
"Home?" he asked, not seeing the Hidden Leaf headband anywhere on her.
"Yes, home," she brushed away her bangs and revealed the headband it was hiding.
"Well welcome back- err, uh. I didn't quite catch your name."
She giggled, "Don't I look familiar to you? That little girl that would always come and visit you here?"
He furrowed his brows and shook his said no, "Sorry dear but I don't seem to remember."
She sighed and waved as she walked away into the many people scurrying people. She smiled as children ran by with treats in their hands and mouths, adults chattered and mingled and the store owners were enjoying serving their customers.
"Everything seems so different, yet looks the same..." she thought to herself. She heard someone yell "Hey" and she turned around and her eyes widened. "N-Nenaki-san....." She smiled as he ran in her direction, but when he brushed passed her it seemed as if the world had slowed down, she saw who he was running to and her eyes softened. "R-Ren... chan..." They hugged and kissed each other, her eyes softened more, then she saw Nibori come up behind them and sling his arms around their shoulders, all three of them laughed and smiled together. She fixed her lips into a sad smile and remembered something inside her backpack. "It seems .... they've all be fine... without me." After reached into her backpack she unfurled her hand and revealed the ying-yang necklace she was given oh so long ago. She looked up to her old friends in the distance and sighed, "Hey, you."
Nenaki turned around and looked at her quizzically, "Yes?"
"You dropped this." She tossed him the necklace and smiled as she disappeared into the crowd. Nenaki stared after her, as if in a trance, "..... but how....? No, it probably isn't ... it's been seven years. We heard that she... died." He shook the though away and continued along with his friends.
She never looked back, but came across a shop manager who smiled at her warmingly.
"Where you fixin' to go stranger?" he asked.
"I'm not fixin' to go anywhere sir, I'm already here," she smiled.
"Is that so? Might I ask your name miss?"
"My name? Uchiha."
"Uchiha you say? Zan! Is that you? Vivia maybe!"
She chuckled and shooke her head no, "No sir. It's Chiaki. Uchiha Chiaki."
And with that she smiled brighter and went on her way, while the man looked like slightly in shock.
"Oh my lord! It's that other Uchiha sister! Just wait till her friends find out!"
he chuckled to himself and then went back inside.
