DigiFrontier Returns: Destiny Repeats Itself

"We're terribly sorry, but your mom and dad didn't make it...."
"No! Mom, dad, they're alive! They're all right! They were talking to me a few minutes ago!" the little girl cried.
"We tried all we could, but they just didn't make it through the accident. We're sorry, you're going to the orphanage tomorrow."
"D-don't say they're d-dead. Please... just...." More tears leaked from her eyes and she balled her hands into fists then ran out of the room, accidentally running into someone.
"Sorry little girl," they apologized. But she clinged onto their skirt and cried into the fabric, she felt a gentle hand stroke her back, "there, there, I'm sure whatever you're crying about will be all right." The girl cried even harder, "Mommy and daddy are..... are... dead."
"Shhh... how about then, you stay with me?" the stranger kneeled and gave her a warm smile.
The little girl sniffed, "Y-you look like my mommy."
"I do? Come on, I'll take you out for something to eat," the woman picked the girl up and carried her out of the hospital.
"Can I ask you something little girl?"
"Yup! What is it?"
"Could you tell me your name?"
"My name, is Carson. Carson Murasaki," she said with a toothy grin.

Her phone made a weird noise and Carson was jolten out from her memories. She picked up her cellphone and looked at it with a quirked brow.
"Murasaki Carson, will you take the challenge? This will decide your destiny."
"Decide my destiny? What the hell does that have to do with anything?" she asked herself as she stared out towards the rolling waves of the ocean.
"Do you take the challenge?" her phone said once again.
"Sure," she pressed yes and waited for something to happen.
"Go to the Shibuya Train at 6:00pm tonight."
Carson dried her hair with a towel and put on a black short-sleeved midriff over her pink surfing midriff. She then put her jeans over her surf shorts and put on her brown belt with it's holister. Tied her yellow bandana around her neck, then put on her right-handed matching fingerless glove. Lacing up her shoes she glanced at her cell phone, 4:50.
"I have time." Carson grabbed her surfboard and her bag, then walked away towards her beach house, before going off into the city.


Carson reached the train station and paid for her ticket before walking off to find her train. She glanced at her phone for the time once again, 5:50.
She followed the signs towards her train and stepped on it, finding no place to sit, she stood up, leaning against the wall.
She looked out the train window and saw a girl scampering to try and catch the train as it came to a stop.
'Geez, what a loser,'she sneered in her mind. The girl literally jumped onto the train and fell into a seat, that had suddenly become open. As the girl looked at her Carson turned to face away from her. From the corner of her eye she saw the girl stand up and wobble and the train began to move again, she grab onto a bar and steadied herself, casting a bright smile to Carson.
"Hey! I'm Minamoto Amaya! And you?" she asked with a perky voice.
'Who does she think I am? A pre-school teacher?'
"Tch. Murasaki Carson," Carson replied with a bored face and an icy tone.
"Well, someone seems cold."
"Excuse me?" Carson growled, narrowing her eyes.
"Nothing, nothing," the girl said, trying to cover up her words.
"Good."
"So, you here...... 'cause of the phone thing?" she asked, pointing towards her cell phone.
"Yeah," Carson replied with a bored tone and she put one hand into her pocket.
"Oh... okay."
'Whatever my destiny is, I just hope it doesn't involve this loser,' Carson thought as her eyes drifted to the girl, 'otherwise I've gotten myself into a long journey.'
